Megan has been caring for dogs since she was a kid, including fostering over 200 rescue dogs for local dog rescues in the Washington DC Area. She has a daughter, Hailey, 4 resident beagles: Kiwi, Clover, Darcie and Dobby and a beagle mix, Finnian. She created her vision of providing a safe, fun, and enjoyable environment for dogs to play in large fields to burn off lots of energy during the day and a comfy, cozy area inside to sleep at night come true with the expansion of Beagle Bed & Breakfast by moving to Emmitsburg, MD in April 2018.

Animal Care Manager
Jenn has been with BB&B since April of 2018. She first started off as a Dog Wrangler and has since worked her way up to be our Lead Wrangler/Manager. Her dream is to one day have her own successful business of being a trainer specifically for dogs in shelters to increase the chances of finding their forever home. No day in her life is complete unless she’s around dogs, including her beloved pup Motley, whom she fell in love with while he was one of our foster dogs.
Senior Dog Wrangler
Cassandra joined us in January 2019. She's an adventurous person who loves the outdoors. When she's not here with us, she is out hiking with her little dog, Jack, painting beautiful landscape scenes or playing her lever harp.
She is enormously talented! Her artwork has been featured at Frederick Coffee Co and is available on Etsy.
Dog Wrangler / Vet Tech
Bethany has been working with us since May 2017, but has been working with a variety of animals (mostly horses and dogs) for about 10 years. She enjoys working with the various breeds and personalities that come through our doors. On top of working as a Dog Wrangler, Bethany is training to become a Vet Technician and is an active Pet Sitter in the Frederick area.
She has 2 Guinea Pigs, named Winnie and Luna, who she adopted in 2018.
Alex graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences in May 2020. She joined Beagle Bed & Breakfast in June 2020. She has a gorgeous rescue dog named Miller and 2 Guinea Pigs named Winston and Clover. Alex used to teach swimming lessons and lifeguard, so now she can be our doggie lifeguard! Alex has a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes and strives to make a positive impact when working with them.
Gabby joined Beagle Bed & Breakfast in July 2020. She's a local to Emmitsburg, MD and has aspirations of becoming a dog trainer. She works regularly teaching tricks to her Border Collie, Stella. Gabby has years of experience in customer service and brings a wonderful positive attitude to our business.
Seasonal Dog Wrangler
Rachel joined us in June 2019. She is a Sophomore at Wilson College in the Veterinary Medical Technologist program. After this program, she plans to attend Veterinary Medicine school at Virginia Tech. She loves getting to spend time with all the amazing dogs here.
She has two adorable kittens at home and loves to be outside and go to the beach during her free time.
Hailey, Megan's daughter, has been with Beagle Bed & Breakfast in some capacity or another since it's inception. She adopted her Beagle, Dobby, after fostering with BB&B in 2017. Hailey worked with SPCA in West Chester, PA and has returned to us in an administrative capacity while she is continuing her education.
Reservation Specialist / Waggin' Wheels Driver
Ted joined Beagle Bed & Breakfast in May 2020 and brings more than a decade of experience in sales and management. Ted loves art, enjoys hiking and the outdoors, all the dogs love him. Ted used to have a Golden Retriever and a MinPin years ago and he grew up with a Beagle mix and an Irish Terrier. Ted studied Environmental Engineering at Penn State, then continuing education at Leeward Community College and Hawaii Pacific University. Ted was also a Blackhawk Mechanic/Crewchief and Mobile Telecommunications for US Army.
Waggin' Wheels Driver
Tom greets all the dogs he picks up each day with a big smile and special treat. The clients and dogs LOVE him! Tom joined Beagle Bed & Breakfast in April 2018 after retiring from being a full time Fire Fighter with Vigilant Hose Company in Emmitsburg, MD. In beautiful weather, you will probably see him on his Harley for a relaxing ride.
